Song of the Day: My Foolish Heart

The song of the day for Thursday, February 21, 2019, is “My Foolish Heart.”

About This Song

“Young and Foolish” is from the 1954 musical Plain and Fancy, Albert Hague wrote the score and Arnold B. Horwitt was the lyricist. The musical concerns a New York couple who travel to Amish country in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to sell a piece of property and become involved with and learn from the community.

About This Version

Today I’m featuring Tony’s first recording of “My Foolish Heart” from his 1963 album This Is All I Ask. The album features arrangements by Ralph Burns.
