About This Version
After two rather fun and upbeat songs, “Ill Wind” takes the listener to a relatively sad ballad, with the strings and piano supporting the song quite nicely.

About Billie Holiday’s Version
Billie Holiday recorded “Ill Wind” on August 14, 1956 in Los Angeles. The recording (MX YBC2916-4) was released on Verve MGV 8329.
