The Wall Street Journal published a very lovely article, “Before the Music, Tony Bennett Painted,” about our favorite artist: Anthony Benedetto. This really is a must-read.
Click here for the article. There are also some wonderful photographs, including Bendetto’s just completed bust of Harry Belafonte.

The Art of Anthony Benedetto
Our friends at The Jazz Corner have recently made us aware of an exhibition of the paintings of our favorite artist, Anthony Benedetto. Over forty works will be exhibited at The Galerie of the Maison du Festival Rio Tinto Alcan, which also houses the collection of The Festival International de Jazz de Montreal.
The exhibition, which is free of charge, is from February 14 to April 14, 2013.
You can read more about the exhibition at the Jazz Corner and at the Montreal Jazz Festival site.
Painting in a Park in São Paulo
Small children are so wonderful and adults who listen to them are equally wonderful. From São Paulo, Brazil, where Mr. Bennett performed last night.
Made a new friend today in São Paulo. He was very excited over my painting. pic.twitter.com/RuzEtW7t
