The song of the day for Saturday, February 9, 2013, is All My Tomorrows.
About All My Tomorrows
This song was written for the 1959 film A Hole In The Head by Sammy Cahn and Jimmy Van Heusen. This film, directed by Frank Capra, starred Frank Sinatra, Edward G. Robinson and Eleanor Parker. Cahn and Van Heusen won the Academy Award for Best Music and for Best Song, though the song that won was High Hopes and not All My Tomorrows.
About This Version
Last evening, I was listening to one of my favorite Tony Bennett albums, If I Ruled The World: Songs For the Jet Set. This song really reached out to me, and so I thought I’d feature it. It’s not Tony’s most famous recording, but it’s a lovely song, with a very nice arrangement by Don Costa and the usual great piano work from Ralph Sharon, and Bennett sings it perfectly.
All My Tomorrows, as well as the full If I Ruled The World: Songs For The Jet Set, is available from iTunes.

This rendition was absolutely great. The DJs in America did not feature it much so many fans have not heard it!
Funny Thing( no not that song by Tony) fans of other singers when they finally hear Tony’s version, tell me they love it by Tony!
Who am I to disagree with them?
