About Today
I woke up this morning to the very sad news that Alan Bergman had died at the age of 99, just few months before his 100th birthday. His wife, Marilyn Bergman, died in 2002. They wrote lyrics together for 58 years with songs that have found their way into the hearts of many of us: “How Do You Keep The Music Playing,” “The Way We Were,” and many more. You may find these obituaries of interest: The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Billboard, Variety, and Rolling Stone.
